We are a Community 4-H club, and members are encouraged to choose individual projects of their interest. As the Westmoreland Extension Office has stated: "The goals of the 4-H Program are to increase knowledge on a variety of project areas while enhancing life-sklls such as decision-making, public speaking, and leadership."
Since our club was started a few years ago, we have grown significantly. Members in our club range from 5 years through teen years (4-H maximum age of 18).
Our club generaly meets every month of the year excluding December. During our meetings, officers are able to practice their roles in conducting a formal business meeting. Our annual Recognition Celebration is in November.
